"And I even got my tuition back in the end!" by Maryanne Tassone
February 2008

I want to take the time to literally share the wealth with everyone. I am a graduate of the William R. Mead Academy; I completed the course of study in January 2007. I have been employed by MHS since 2001 starting as a driver with Providence Place. I am currently working as a CAS Certified Counselor as Lead Case Manager at Central East Regional Recovery Center. I recently received my tuition reimbursement from MHS for graduating from the academy and maintaining employment with MHS for one year. I want to personally thank Mary Hubbard for all the time and effort expended to create this wonderful program. The reimbursement was an extra bonus I wasn't expecting but greatly appreciate. My way of giving back is to support the study groups for the students who are planning on taking the CAS test by easing their fears and guiding them with the CAS study guide.

A Word from David Sanchez, Psy.D.

My attendance in the Gender Responsive Studies module as a Marital & Family Therapist provides me with an opportunity to integrate applications in practice through a gender sensitive approach. This way on conceptualizing treatment fit well with the utilization of motivational interviewing techniques. I highly recommend other behavioral health professionals to inquire into the school about all of the classes and accreditations.

GRATEFUL IN RECOVERY by Dan Z.

The William R. Mead Training Academy is helping my recovery by being able to give back to the community. The instructors are enthusiastic, knowledgeable and inspirational. I came to get an education and learned a lot about help others that are in need of support.
